  1. How much skill is required and will I have to provide individual training for my customers? Each riders comfort level will be slightly different.  We find that most golfers have a very short learning curve of a couple of holes to become competent with the GSC.   We offer 4 speed settings and many safety features.  A short hands on tutorial by a staff member familiar with the features of the unit is very helpful to first time riders.

  1. How many holes can I expect to get from a fully charged unit? This will vary with rider weight, rider style, course length and terrain.   But the short answer is 36 holes in a pinch.  We do recommend that a top off charge of 30 to 40 minutes is given between 18 hole rounds.  This 200 lb. writer has ridden his board 45 holes on a regulation course with many hills.  As you know for the longevity of any battery it is best to get the bump charge in between rounds.

  19. Do the units require assembly? No they come out of the box ready to ride, each unit folds down for easy handling and all that is required is to clip the battery on, sync the Bluetooth controller and program the desired speed.  We even have a design for a top and bottom rack that is easily built for facilities with limited space.
  20.

  21. Why would I choose a revenue program over a lease or purchase? Each facility is different and has different financial needs.  We want to provide options.  With the revenue share we provide all replacement parts due to normal wear and tear, and repair training for the length of the agreement free of charge.  You just pay the implementation fee and share the revenue according to the terms of the agreement.
  22.

  23. How do you know how many rounds that the GSC go out? We have a GPS cellular tracker on each unit.  We do rely on the operator’s honesty and use this only if the billing is more that 5% off our tracked round count.    We realize that pros and some staff may get a courtesy ride and we hope that they ride and enjoy the GSC.
  24.

  25. How does the GPS work? Our first generation will track the units and they will show up on a mobile device, tablet or computer in the shop.  You will know where each unit has been and where they are at all times.   For our Revenue Share partners, a $15 per month cellular data plan is included in your monthly fee for each unit.  So there will be no additional monthly fee on top of the $99 monthly fee plus the $7 per round
  26.

  27. If I like the GPS can you outfit our current fleet with the same system? Yes, we can set up your current fleet with the same system and for a very reasonable price. Contact your sales rep.

We will provide signage and a great HTML with video links that we can customize for you to send to your members/clients.  We also provide you a digital press kit that you can use to send to local papers or members and client lists. We will release a national announcement in the Golf Wire and provide a full social media integration.
  30.

  31. What is the length of the typical lease program? We use GSC Financial powered by IFinancial one of the largest leasing companies in the world.  They will write lease terms for between 3 and 5 years.  It’s up to you.  They will even provide seasonal lease payment options if you desire. Keep in mind that we understand that you have existing leasing relationships but IFinacial works hard to find you the best leasing factor rate and they have been exceptional with regard to customer service.  We have worked hard to bring the best possible rate and service to our lease program.
  32.

  33. What is the cost of the lease per month? Leasing factor number depend on the length of lease and credit score of lessor. You can normally get approved and a formal quote in less than 24 hours and the final paperwork takes two to five business days.  Each of our sales reps can assist you in and estimate calculation but the final quote will come directly from GSC IF.    We have an agent to assist you and an online form or paper application.  It is just one page!
  34.

  35. What do other courses charge for a round with the GSC? We suggest you start at the same rate as a single rider cart but some report demand being high and do charge $5 to $10 more per round.   It’s definitely more fun!
  36.

  37. How long does it take to play a regulations 18 holes with a GSC? The game goes much faster than a two-person cart because you can go right to your ball! We have reports of foursomes playing as fast as 2 ½ hours.   Golfer skill and course difficulty will affect this.
  38.

  39. What is delivery time? Right now we are taking orders and are running about 10 days on average.   This could flex a bit and you should check with your sales rep as he or she will have the most current schedule.

  42.

  43. If I purchase or lease can you still put us under your insurance? Unfortunately, not at this time. Our insurance is for our rev share partners only.   This may change in the near future.
  44.

  45. If I purchase or lease will I need special insurance? We cannot tell you how to insure your business.  We are currently trying to get several of the major underwriters to recognize us and write insurance.   Since you can insure most anything for a price we expect this to be in place soon.   We suggest you talk to your current insurer about your own needs.    We do believe an accident with a GSC is less severe that an accident with a standard golf cart.
  46.

  47. Do you suggest a liability waiver?   Yes, we think that is prudent and we do require and provide a waiver. We also require all first time users watch our safety video.  It takes just a couple of minutes. We also have an online web based video and storage program for each course free of charge.
  48.

  49. What is the learning time curve for the typical user? Each person is different.  We feel that most people will be very comfortable and safe with a few holes of practice.
